Want a Payday Loan?
If you’ve got a regular job then you know how easy it is to depend on that paycheck to get you everything you want. From time off, to vacations, to a house to “toys,” that paycheck is responsible for a lot of things, including bills. But what happens when that paycheck can’t cover an emergency situation? What do you do then? Of course, wisdom is to have a savings account with some money stashed aside for things such as this, but in reality, most of us don’t do this. That said if you’re thinking of a payday loan, here are a few points to consider:
First, think about how much you really need. Not “what would be nice to have” or “what I want to do with it” but simply “how much do I need to get through this situation?” The reason you do this is two fold. First, it gets you to calm down and consider exactly how bad the situation really is as opposed to making it bigger than needed. Second, you change your thinking from what you could do with any extra to, exactly how much you need and no more. This has two distinct advantages: first, it gets you to stay focused on solving the current crisis and not get sidetracked by things you may want to do.
Consider also the fact that a payday loan is something that you should not rely one but instead consider it another tool in your tool chest for getting through the occasional rough spot. If you can do this, then getting the occasional payday loan will not give you any problems. Just be sure that you understand exactly what you are responsible for.
